Diversion Program

Diversion Program

Our Diversion Program is a structured, six-week, community-based educational curriculum designed to support and redirect at-risk youth toward positive life choices. The program focuses on helping young people develop self-awareness, emotional regulation, accountability, and healthy social skills that promote long-term success. Through targeted education, skill-building activities, and supportive guidance, the program addresses negative behaviors while fostering personal responsibility and decision-making skills, ultimately working to prevent repeat offenses and reduce involvement with the juvenile justice system.

This program serves teen boys and girls under the age of 19 in the South Suburban and Chicago areas of Illinois who have committed first-time offenses, including status offenses, misdemeanor offenses, and nonviolent felony offenses. By intervening early, the Diversion Program empowers youth to make meaningful changes and build a more positive future.
