A’vril Smith the Secretary of Angel’s Helping Hands. She is a proud Chicago native, family-oriented professional and a dedicated wife and mother of four. Her career is rooted in a deep-seated passion for helping others, with a particular heart for supporting and empowering our youth. For the past decade, A’vril has contributed her expertise to UnitedHealth Group, where she currently serves as the manager of the Cancer Specialty Guidance Program. 

In this vital role, she is partnered closely with oncologists, pharmacists, and nursing staff to ensure patients receive the precise treatment they need in a timely fashion. Driven by a desire to deepen her impact, she is currently finishing her psychology degree at Capella University. Her unique blend of clinical management experience and psychological insight allows her to approach healthcare with both efficiency and empathy. She is committed to bridge the gap between complex medical systems and the human needs of the community she serves.
